This programme is for colleagues supporting maths improvement in schools other than their own. Participants learn how to lead sustainable, evidence-informed development across curriculum, pedagogy and leadership. It strengthens the capacity to guide long-term school improvement.

Teach GCSE resit or Functional Skills Maths? Join the Post-16 Mastery Specialist Programme and receive fully funded professional development to transform your teaching and support colleagues in embedding mastery approaches. Practitioners with at least two years’ experience teaching post-16 GCSE Maths resit and/or Functional Skills Maths in FE colleges, Sixth Form colleges, or other post-16 settings, with the capacity to lead change are eligible to apply. You’ll strengthen your classroom practice, help students build confidence and secure understanding, and gain the skills to lead professional development, supported by expert training and a collaborative network.
